COLLECTION AND RETURN: The boat can be collected at the “Puerto Deportivo de Cala’n Bosch” from 10:00 a.m. The boat must be returned to the same place prior to 18:30 hours. All returns after this time, that are not beyond the client’s control shall be penalized by 25% of the total amount of the contract for every 30 minutes delay. IMPORTANT: respect the maximun number of persons that the boat is allowed to take. Likewise if a boat is rented for various days, the boat must be moored overnight at the above mentioned port as each day the boats are serviced and prepared for the following day.

INSURANCE AND EXCESS: The tariffs include fully comprehensive insurance cover with an excess of 100 € for the boats: CAP CAMARAT 545, 635 and 715WA; 300€ for the LEADER 805. The excess charge will be paid in case of damage caused to the boat or another boat, or any accessory supplied with it. The client agrees to pay the mentioned amount in that case. Cover also extends to breakdowns and recovery if necessary subject to the limitations indicated in the enclosed plan. Recovery costs outside these limits shall be payable by the client.

CANCELLATION: If it is not possible to fulfill the rental contract and it is cancelled, the following applies:

• For reasons of bad sea conditions or bad weather forecasts: in these circumstances, the company will recommend that the boat should not set sail as there would be danger for the safety of the passengers and the reservation deposit shall be returned unless another available reservation date is chosen.

• For personal reasons of the client: in this case, the client must pay: till 30 days before rental date 10% of the total hire price; From 30 to 15 days: 25%; less than 15 days 50%. The same day 100%.

FUEL: The rental charge does not include fuel. The boat is rented with a full tank and is filled again upon return, the client having to pay for fuel used.

LICENCE: The person who will sail the boat must be in possession of the appropriate licence to sail the boat rented. The client will be liable for any fines, penalties and damages resulting from any infringements of Maritime Regulations committed during the duration of this contract. The boat is allowed to coastal navigation, limited to Menorca island.

SAFETY: Max. speed in harbour and beaches 3 knots. Respect swimmers area in beaches, always anchoring out of yellow buoys. RESPECT CAPACITY OF Nº OF PERSONS OF RENTED BOAT.

ENVIROMENT: Remember: Menorca is a Biosphere Reserve, please pay attention to don’t leave garbage at beaches or sea, please leave it to the harbour garbage containers when coming back. We ask you to keep the boat in a good state of cleanliness, so that we have to use the minimum water for its cleaning, as water is a scarce resource especially in the island.

TARIFFS, RESERVATIONS, AND PAYMENT: The prices are valid for the current year. Reservations are accepted only upon payment of a 25% deposit of the total rental amount. Payment is to be made in advance by cash or credit card. V.A.T. is included in the price.

CLAIMS: It is expressely agreed that the company assumes no liability whatsover for loss or damage to items left or kept or that the client or any other person has forgotten, keeps or transports in the boat during or after the end of the contract. The client accepts the risk for such losses and exempts the company from any such claims. The client also frees and indemnifies the company from any claim caused for these reasons or for delays caused as a consequence of breakdown of the boat including a possible change in the state of the sea due to unforeseen weather conditions once the boat has set sail.
